Rain

I hate the rain
Raining down on me
When I cross the street with no umbrella

I hate the rain
When it makes me late
Or when you’re angry I didn’t come to see you

I hate the rain
When it’s raining like this
It reminds me so much of such sweet sorrow

I hate the rain
When you’re a hundred miles away
And there’s no way you can come see me
